Sorry about the long silence but a lot has happened in the last while. I found a good work from home opportunity and a part time job.
I was unemployed for eighteen months and during that time the Lord was faithful in providing for the needs of my family. He did this by allowing me the time to learn about the internet and through a friend I found out about how to work from home on the internet. I am still a newbie but making progress. I also did a lot of handyman work for people.
Also in July last year I was offered a job doing bookkeeping for a company and was provided with a better PC than I had. My boss had a DSL connection installed for me at home and guess what? Yep, I now work from home doing books and IM.
On a more personal level our third daughter, Emily Beth, was born on the 7th December 2007. A precious gift from Jesus. She weighed in at 3,49kg with a big mop of dark hair. Kathryn, my wife, gave birth at home in our bath. What a beautiful experience. I can recommend a home birth with a good midwife anytime. Very intimate and personal.
Kathryn is now home schooling our other two girls, Sarah and Hannah. What a pleasure it is to be able to work from home and be part of the daily development of my children.
Still more exciting news is that we have at last found a group of people who love Jesus and desire nothing more than a deep relationship with him. See article posted in January 2007 "The Church of my Dreams." My prayer for you if you read this post is that the Lord will also show you His real Body - His Church.
We are truly blessed right now by what the Lord is doing in our lives.
